The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) organized a befitting retirement celebration in honour of Mr. Avre Josiah Ajege, one of the pioneer staff of the Commission, who has meritoriously served and contributed immensely to its growth and development. The event, which took place at the Commission’s headquarters, was attended by members of staff, dignitaries from various departments of the judiciary, friends, and family of the celebrant. The atmosphere was filled with joy and gratitude as colleagues and guests gathered to appreciate a man who dedicated several decades of his life to the service of the judiciary. In his opening remarks, the digital secretary of (JSC) Yahaya Yakubu Shafa. Esq represented by the director planning research and statistics Safeenah Nagogo. Esq commended Mr. Ajege for his selfless service, commitment, and integrity throughout his years in office. She described the retiree as a pillar of support and a true example of diligence and professionalism. Speakers at the event recounted Mr. Ajege’s remarkable journey, highlighting his instrumental role in establishing key administrative structures that strengthened the efficiency of the Commission.
